What a Failing Fence Costs You
Fences rarely fail politely. A post that's rotted at ground level, which is where they always rot, holds until the next proper blow, then takes three panels with it into your garden or your neighbour's. Storm-season emergency replacements cost more, choice of materials is whatever's in stock, and you're negotiating over a boundary at the worst possible moment.
The false economy is the post that was never set deep enough or set in bare soil without proper concrete. The fence looks fine for a year or two, then starts to lean, and once a run starts moving, every panel joint and fixing is under strain. Replacing posts early costs a fraction of rebuilding the run.

Panel Fencing
The most popular boundary choice: panels fitted between properly set posts, with gravel boards at the base to keep timber off the soil and extend the life of the whole run.
We fit panels level and true even where the ground slopes, stepped or raked properly, with the line looking deliberate rather than improvised.
Closeboard Fencing
Built board by board on arris rails, closeboard is the strongest option for exposed gardens, and around the open edges of the Fens, exposure is real. It costs more than panels and stands up to far more.
Closeboard also repairs well: individual boards can be replaced without touching the rest of the run, which keeps lifetime costs down.
Gates, Made & Hung
Side gates and garden gates framed, braced and hung properly, the bracing is what stops a gate dropping, and it's the part cheap gates skip. Hinges and latches fitted to suit how you'll actually use them.
A gate is only as good as the post it hangs on, we make sure both are up to the job.
Posts, Gravel Boards & Storm Repairs
Rotted posts replaced, leaning runs straightened and re-set, storm-damaged bays rebuilt. Gravel boards fitted at the base of runs to keep panels clear of the soil, the simplest way to add years to a fence.
