However large or small the job, it starts the same way: a free site visit and one fixed-price quote.

No. Site visits and quotes are always free, and there's no obligation. Charlie visits, listens, measures up and gives you one clear, fixed price for the job.
How does payment work?
Every job is quoted at a fixed price. Larger jobs are typically paid in stages: a 25% deposit, further payments at agreed milestones, and the balance on completion. Smaller jobs are usually 50% upfront and 50% on completion. We accept bank transfer, cash and card.
Are you insured?
Yes. CV Carpentry & Construction holds public liability insurance cover up to £5 million.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes, every job is backed by our workmanship guarantee. The length and terms vary depending on the type of job, so ask us for the details when we quote.
Do you handle planning permission and building control?
We can handle planning permission and building control on your behalf, or work alongside you if you'd prefer to manage that side yourself. For extensions we bring in a structural engineer where required and a quantity surveyor for pricing.
